This project was my thesis senior project for my Bachelor's in Communications Design. The overarching objective of this project is to establish a cohesive and impactful identity for the Afro-Latino community. This will be achieved through the implementation of a dedicated month-long program featuring a series of events, workshops, and educational activities across the city aimed at raising awareness and understanding of the Afro-Latino culture. By showcasing the rich cultural heritage, music, and stories of the Afro-Latino community, this initiative has the potential to reshape perceptions and narratives surrounding Afro-Latino communities. Ultimately, the goal is to educate, empower, and promote greater recognition and appreciation for the Afro-Latino identity.
