The hosts of the G.R.I.T.S and the City were gonna launch their new season this year. I decided to help them with photography to promote their podcast. They wanted to capture settings around New York with South and Black roots.

In partnership with Weeksville Heritage Center, GrillzandGranola and I See You Wellness brought ZEN DAY: the first and only community wellness conference that promotes movement, mindfulness & modern spirituality among Women of Color. This year, the theme explored was RISE.
